curated by Talia Heiman, a small ocean swallowed brings together artworks that embody a sense of ecological entwinement, poetically and experimentally reorienting human relationships to water. The exhibition features work by six intergenerational and international feminist artists: Sholeh Asgary, Patricia Belli, Kiyo Gutierrez, Jessie Homer French, Erin Jane Nelson, and Sunaura Taylor.

"I would like this inventory, by its simple existence, to respond to the curators of festivals and other musical events who I can hear say, “We would like to program more women, trans and non-binary but how do we find them?“ And this long list is an answer that could be translated as “Open your eyes, they are here, they are everywhere.“ And now here it is: my list of approximately 3979 artists."
