In Blue Time is an audiovisual installation that amplifies the sound of waterclocks in real-time. Consisting of long containers that catch water from vessels suspended above, each waterclock casts reflections reminiscent of soundwaves. Every drip shapes reflection and sound through hidden contact microphones and pin spot beam lights. When several waterclocks are activated, the simultaneous sounds develop into a ringing chorus that weaves in and out as the viewer walks through the space. The volume of water in each water clock correlates to stock prices in water.
